Overview

Konoo is a B2B platform solving a very real and expensive problem — Moroccan wholesalers were still flying across borders just to meet retailers in person, repeating trips that cost thousands and took weeks, just to close deals that should have taken a conversation. The platform connects suppliers directly with international buyers and cuts out the travel entirely. When the team came to me, they had a working product and a clear vision, but no brand to represent them. The identity needed to hold its own in the international market while still carrying the cultural weight of where Konoo comes from.

Challenge

Most B2B platforms look exactly the same — corporate blues, clean grids, safe typography that communicates "trust" without communicating anything else. That approach works, but Konoo had something most platforms don't: a genuine cultural story behind it. The challenge was figuring out how to bring that story into the design without making it feel like a tourism poster. Moroccan identity in branding often gets reduced to geometric tile patterns and terracotta colors. I wanted to go deeper — find something that was culturally specific but still felt contemporary and credible on a global stage.

Solution

The cobalt palette came from Chefchaouen — Morocco's legendary Blue City — one of the most iconic visual references in the world that still translates cleanly into a digital interface. The wordmark is geometric and deliberate, built to feel like a trusted trade partner: precise, structured, no ambiguity. The full brand system is clean enough for a modern SaaS product but carries enough cultural weight that you know exactly where this company is from and what it stands for. It gave Konoo something most B2B brands never achieve — a look that actually tells a story.
